My newest design: Spiral Dreams Pendant

I actually dreamed up this design in my head while trying to fall asleep last night. One is made using Swarovski crystals and the other is green peridot gemstones. Fun and not too dificult.

The first is an impression of a tree in black clay, with gold leaf pressed into the clay, and metallic powders hand rubbed onto the piece before baking.

The second is a hand sculptured tree with a clear glass stone behind the branches.

This is going to be a great week!  Here are some things that will happen this week in my blog: 1.  Daily feature will be "things that are red"2.  BEST Artist feature will be From Shirlee on Etsy3. I have several unfinished pieces in my own store that I hope to complete and photograph. Here's a photo of one of my projects that I completed last week.  This is a pretty yellow crystal wrapped in pure copper wire using my "nested" technique.  I'm having a great time thinking of new ways to use this style in my wire wrapping.
